Hello, I'm Berrely. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of highest-grossing media franchises without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.   Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Hi there. Because you don't know how Wikipedia works, all of your edits have been reverted, wasting the time of yourself and fellow volunteers. Please stop editing until you familiarize with what an encyclopedia is, as listed above. Just stick to asking questions and proposing changes at the Teahouse and see if you can work up to editing. Thank you!Smuckola(talk) 20:15, 28 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 21:24, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Block

edit

@Ferret: this one immediately repeated the previously blocked action, as pretty much this user's sole and totally robotic contribution. — Smuckola(talk) 21:47, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Final warning

edit

Evilcougar. Is there something I can do to help you understand things? I see you've already been blocked once for disruptive editing. You need to stop editing as you are. You cannot just undo people's edits over and over again. If there's a dispute, you need to start a discussion on a WP:TALKPAGE, and only make the change if there is a WP:CONSENSUS to make your change. You need to talk it out.

If you keep reverting editors without discussion, you're going to receive a long term block.

Also - side note - you can't use other wikis as sources. They fail WP:USERG. Don't use that either. Sergecross73 msg me 01:29, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Sergecross73: Hey Serge, that's why he was blocked, because he was already repeatedly and conclusively engaged in two Talk page threads here. The dispute was addressed and ended from the start. He knew perfectly well. Didn't care. Was blocked. Didn't care. Doesn't matter. — Smuckola(talk) 04:58, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Think of it as skipping a medium term block and going straight to a long-term block, which is what's going to happen if there's any more issues like this. Sergecross73 msg me 12:46, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
