I also signed on as LauraSnook -- I realize I should not be anonymous when editing forest-related pieces. So now I have two usernames. I'll figure out later how to deal with that. Sylvanatura (talk) 11:57, 26 January 2018 (UTC) |
- well done, Laura. Would you like to review [draft page] before I publish it? Ewa hermanowicz (talk) 16:16, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

AfC notification: Draft:Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture has a new comment
editYour submission at Articles for creation: Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (February 12)

- hi CHRISSYMAD, could you please restore the draft of the page so that I can further work on it and visualize the comment from Robert McClenon? I did not save the draft elsewhere and had spent some time researching references. Thanks Ewa hermanowicz (talk) 10:53, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
- User:Ewa hermanowicz - First, User:Chrissymad didn't delete the draft, but tagged it for deletion, and can't restore it herself. Only an administrator, usually the deleting administrator, can restore deleted text. Second, a page that is deleted due to copyright violation may never be restored. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, even if no one else does, and copyright violation must be deleted. Third, what I said was that the draft did not seem to establish notability of the Commission for a stand-alone article, but that the information could be added to Food and Agriculture Organization. I would add that it can only be added if it is rewritten so that it does not violate copyright, because Wikipedia does not tolerate copyright violation. If you have any more questions, you may ask them at the Teahouse or the Help Desk. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:32, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
