Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article User:FIGHT HARD. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. CityOfSilver 21:02, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:FIGHT HARD

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:FIGHT HARD, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — O Fortuna! Fight Hard is a clothing company out of Texas. Not trying to promote any products or ideas, just general knowledge of the company. Thank you.

Are you involved with the company? CityOfSilver 21:08, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, please check all my credentials. I am not trying to sell on wiki, that's absurd. Knowledge and information on a great company should not be deleted.

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --FIGHT HARD (talk) 21:24, 14 March 2017 (UTC) I just wiki nike, under armour, addidas. Same type of business. I dont see anything wrong with a wiki page for a great new clothing company. Im not sure why the big clothing companies have a wiki page and the small business owners can't? Please inform me of that? Thank you.Reply

In a way, yes, that's true. Nike and Under Armour aren't allowed to promote here but per our policy on notability, the bigger a company is, the more likely it is that it is eligible for an article. An article's existence isn't in and of itself promotion. It's really important that you read our our policy on notability and our policy on promotion, because they're both pretty clear answers to the questions you keep asking.
