Whiskey Media references

Where are you finding information on the staff and their positions? I've been trying to find that information for awhile but haven't come up with anything. If you can add some references to the article, that would be great. Reach Out to the Truth (LordAndrew) 01:17, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi FLStyle. I'm wondering what your Giantbomb user name is. I was wondering who was editing the Whiskey Media pages.

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Monday Night Combat, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Fin© 16:08, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello. No, I wasn't implying you were a member of Uber Entertainment - I saw the primary addition of your edit being Giant Bomb related. Seeing as all but one of your edits since January has been related to Giant Bomb or its parent company, along with you apparently having access to unpublished information about Whiskey Media, meant I felt the COI notification was justified. Thanks! Fin© 10:07, 21 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hello again. It was only a minor concern I was pointing out, just to be cautious in the future - your edits look good! Thanks! Fin© 14:18, 21 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Whiskey media big live live show live ending.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Whiskey media big live live show live ending.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Would it be possible for you to try and explain to this user http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/137.120.238.48 about WP:NOR and WP:V, because they keep having a go about me over the whole "Asuka in Street Fighter X Tekken" thing and just won't listen to me. You're clearly a far more established member with a better understanding of the rules than me. 88.109.19.128 (talk) 00:29, 24 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Giant Bomb, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alexa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Giantbomb TNT trenched.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Giantbomb TNT trenched.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 18:11, 5 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
