Re: Move
editWell, the idea was that we shouldn't move pages without considering the wider issues created by those moves, such as categories associated with these. Either don't move or make provision for everything to be moved, but don't do things halfway. - Biruitorul Talk 01:28, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
W. J. Gordy
editHi FMasic. Thanks for nominating W. J. Gordy for Did You Know...? Unfortunately, the article isn't new enough to be eligible for DYK consideration; only articles created in the last few days are eligible. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, 28bytes (talk) 19:31, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, the rules are pretty clear about the article needing to be recent, but you're welcome to make your case for an exception on the DYK discussion page. Thanks, 28bytes (talk) 15:14, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
October 2010
editWelcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Talk:Tangerine (song) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. MJ94 (talk) 15:47, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I blanked the talk page because I'm pretty sure redirects don't fall under the scope of the disambiguation project. Only revert me if you've checked, thanks. FMasic (talk) 15:56, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 6
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Holy Pictures, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Holmes. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
