editHello, I'm Ashleyyoursmile. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bayshore Christian School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Ashleyyoursmile! 15:12, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Bayshore Christian School. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. — BillHPike (talk, contribs) 16:35, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- User:FWRanger, in regards to Bayshore Christian School, I created the article back in 2013. At the time, I knew a teacher/coach of Bayshore Christian School, he is black, and several students at Bayshore, all of whom were black. When someone added that it was founded as a segregation academy, I was shocked, and certain it was untrue. However, the facts did not back me up! Please have a read of this. The school was certainly integrated when I became aware of it in the early 2000s, but when it was founded, it was for the purpose of avoiding integration. It quickly integrated and took on new purpose, as my friends who are associated with the school would testify, but that won't be in the article in less they get quoted by a reliable source. If you know of a source we can use, let me know and maybe I can help you add info to the article. Jacona (talk) 16:24, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
