Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first pages you edited on Wikipedia appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that page.

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chatAgain, welcome! --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:01, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Deepfriedokra. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Drusillas Zoo Park seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:01, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your username

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Drusillas Zoo Park, and I noticed that your username, "DrusillasZooPark", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:02, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Drusillas Zoo Park) for non neutral, WP:COI editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:04, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 17:40, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've unblocked your account because I read your note on Deepfriedokra's talk page, and I have to assume that Orangemike had not, otherwise this block was patently ridiculous. However, per Deepfriedokra's note above, we do have a policy that usernames cannot imply that an account is shared by multiple people and the same policy forbids "role" accounts, such as creating an account that is used by the marketing department of an organization. The policy provides two options: you can stop using this account and create a new personal account for yourself, or you can ask for this account to be renamed to something compliant with the username policy. Precedent is that a name such as "JaneAtDrusillasZooPark" is perfectly acceptable (because it identifies you individually), but you may want to get more creative than that.
Once that issue is resolved, our terms of service require that you disclose any organization for which you are editing for any form of compensation; see WP:PAYDISCLOSE. Once you've done that, it's strongly recommended that you don't directly edit any articles about that organization, but you can request an edit at that article's talk page, as Deepfriedokra suggested. You should take a look at our plain and simple conflict of interest guide for more information. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:49, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
On Korean Wiki, various fruits are popular, and we should all eat more fresh fruit. Though after thinking about it, I soured on the idea. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:56, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Renaming

edit

Please rename quickly. I am a renamer. Special:GlobalRenameRequest should do the job. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:32, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Delighted to see this has been taken care of. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:11, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
