I was a little confused by your recent edit to James Russell Lowell. Though I don't doubt what you added was true (I may ask if it's really that relevant), I was mostly unsure of the reference. Thanks for clarifying your point. I should note my quick reaction to your edit: Lowell's article is one of the few that have achieved featured status. If you're unsure of proper footnoting, take a moment to ask before adding a partial footnote that can, essentially, undermine the quality/integrity of the article's featured status.
