Speedy deletion nomination of No Mans Land
editHello Fantail13,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged No Mans Land for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. SuperHero ● 👊 ● ★ 13:59, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

Your Articles
editHi, Fantail13. Thanks for your recent contributions, but I do have some major concerns about the articles you are creating. As mentioned above they are so short that it is difficult to know if the subjects are notable, you are forcing others to work out their locations, and without any references they are not very useful to the wiki. Can I suggest that you have a good look at the Wikipedia:Tutorial, and use the Article wizard when creating future articles. Thanks...Jokulhlaup (talk) 14:37, 30 December 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Arch Brook
editThe article Arch Brook has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Notability not established.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Fantail13. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Venford Brook, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. — Gorthian (talk) 02:23, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

English streams
editNice work you've been doing on English streams. I'm sorry to see that some of them got deleted . I've put in a request for them to be restored, since named geographic features are in fact notable. They should be back up soon, as there was no good reason to delete them. That said, to avoid these kinds of things happening in the future, you might want to include more detail and references (see Zerbe Run for an example), as nobody really messes with well-developed geography articles. --Jakob (talk) aka Jakec 14:51, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Blackbrook River
editThanks for this - looks good! I've added some categories and put on the talk page some WikiProject tags for its location and article size. (I copied these off the West Dart River article - always a good way to find good categories and tags to add to an article.) There are some photos of the river on Wikimedia Commons so I've added one.
I think what you probably need to do now is add some references to reliable sources to show that the river is notable, using the cite tool. Let me know if you have any questions about how to do this. Blythwood (talk) 12:42, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Just been reading through your other articles while I was at it! It looks like a really great set of articles on obscure topics, and as the UK is well-photographed by the Geograph project it's often possible to add photos. My one concern is that it's very much worth finding citations to show that topics are notable and allow articles to be kept - this can also help you by letting you decide what articles to prioritise writing (I've used this in the past).
