- Hi, Looking at Aishwarya Rai and List of awards and nominations received by Aishwarya Rai, it appears that User:Shshshsh was the one who reversed, or reverted, your changes. I'm sure Shshshsh would be happy to discuss it with you, I would recommend speaking directly to Shshshsh at User_talk:Shshshsh. I also changed your [[helpme]] to {{helpme}} so that others can see you need help.
- Try looking at WP:CITE, which tells how to cite the awards you are adding. If you can back up the information you add, then other editors are not as likely to remove it. Please also read WP:RS, which explains what websites and sources can be used. You have to prove the information you add to Wikipedia by pointing to an independent source (so Aishwarya Rai's website can not be used). Hopefully this makes things clearer. If I were you, I would also leave a message at User_talk:Shshshsh or Talk:Aishwarya Rai or Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Aishwarya Rai to talk about why your changes were removed. See WP:BRD for the process that is used to improved pages on Wikipedia. Please reply here if you have more questions, or if I am not being clear about something. Thanks, and welcome to Wikipedia! Hello and welcome!
editI'm ready to help. The awards you have added to Aishwarya's article and the list of her awards is unsourced and the only source you had added was her fansite, which is not reliable. Every claim which is likely to be challenged must be sourced to reliable sources. Shahid • Talk2me 14:17, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- First of all, do not feel unconvenient turning to me. No, these sites are not reliable. Though youtube is a video site which can provide direct proves from the horse's mouth, citing its clips would be generally considered a violation of copyright. I suggest you to cite newspapers like The Times of India, The Hindu, and reliable websites like Rediff.com and Bollywood Hungama, among others. Also consider WP:CITE to see how sources should be formatted and please do format your additions. Shahid • Talk2me 18:25, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- "NDTV Indian Icon of the Year" is not an award. Website titles are not awards. We better stick to real awards. Shahid • Talk2me 13:59, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Aishwarya Rai
editHi there.
You placed a help request on Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Aishwarya Rai, but I see that you have also had help here, on your talk page.
I've cancelled the request over there; if you do require any further help, please use a further {{helpme}} here, on your own talk page - because article discussion pages are for discussing things with other editors; we like to provide help answers here, so that you get the prompt for new messages.
I think that your question has been answered quite well, above; you need to provide more reliable sources for the facts.

- Hi. If you click on the 'history' tab, you'll get to this link, which shows who changed what, and when. For help on that, see WP:HISTORY.
- In this case, Shshshsh (talk · contribs) undid your changes, and left edit summaries to explain why. You could ask the user directly, by leaving a message on user talk:Shshshsh.
- For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use another {{helpme}};
OR
- Talk to us live, with this or this.
- The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Chzz ► 10:28, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
I did that
editThis paragraph needs to remain the recent work section. The lead is not here to list her achievements. It's here to summarise her career. Please do not put it back in the introduction. Thank you. Shahid • Talk2me 11:30, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
