Admin Nomination - Sandlaeors
editI sugest that we all nominate Canpop to be an admin. It would be quite funny :P —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sandlaeors (talk • contribs) 17:05, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Horsforth School
editThe list of staff names at the Horsforth School article are not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Not every fact or statement about a notable topic is worth including - the notability guidelines for inclusion of material in Wikipedia articles can be found here. Horsforth School teachers (again)
editThank you for your comment. Unfortunately, I regret that the names of teachers are not suitable for inclusion in an encyclopaedia, no matter how hard-working and deserving they may be, as they do not pass Wikipedia's notability requirements. If your husband is an administrator, which I very much doubt, I look forward to him explaining his justification for any block he might impose. DWaterson (talk) 15:48, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message on my talk page also. I agree with the comments by DWaterson above. Could I also suggest you sign your posts by adding ~~~~ at the end. Euryalus (talk) 22:48, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notability of Simeon Bambrook
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Simeon Bambrook, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Simeon Bambrook seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Simeon Bambrook, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of John Deacey, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.farsleyceltic.com/TheManager.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:40, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
