Welcome!
editHello, FawZone, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.
As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:36, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Jimfbleak,
- Thank you for your message and the warm welcome. I understand the concerns about writing about oneself and the importance of meeting Wikipedia's notability guidelines.
- I believe that Fawzi Mesmar meets the notability criteria due to his extensive career in game design, leadership roles at major companies like Ubisoft and DICE, and his significant contributions to the field, which have been covered in multiple reliable sources. However, I will review the guidelines again and gather more sources to ensure the article meets the standards.
- I will also make sure to propose any edits on the talk page of the existing article to maintain a neutral point of view and avoid any conflict of interest.
- Thanks again for the guidance. I look forward to contributing positively to Wikipedia.
- Best,
- FawZone (FawZone (talk) 09:20, 10 July 2024 (UTC))

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, FawZone. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Fawzi Mesmar, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:11, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
Please don't
edit...post your draft to this page. This is your talk page, and is intended for communicating with other users, and that purpose alone. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:41, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
