Armorial of British universities
editThank you Felipe for your superb artwork that you added to the above. Please feel free to make more artistic contributions! Your work is first class.
A request concering the above
editI just noticed the colours. For Buckinghamshire New you used red and it should be maroon. Please look on the page at the shield on the left. The description of the arms is (as always) in a hybrid language of English and Norman French. It says 'murrey' which means maroon or reddish brown (almost purple.) If you see 'gules' that means red. I hope that you are able to correct. My previous comment about your work still stands BTW!
CoA rendition
editJust a heads up, the file you swapped in place of the actual Canadian Coat of Arms is a user-created rendition of the Canadian Coat of Arms. This is the actual file for the real Coat of Arms, which because it is a non-free copyrighted image, is limited in use to a select number of articles. The user-created rendition of the Coat of Arms is only used in place of the real Coat of Arms for articles that do not have the fair use rationale (all non-free image files will list which articles have said rationale). Canada Coat of Arms question
editQuestion for you. What made you make this edit to the Canada article. I'm curious as to what drove the change from the official version to a different interpreted rendition. Is there a Wikiproject or the like somewhere that had this tagged as a change to be made? Canterbury Tail talk 20:11, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- well, here we go when I saw sodacan's version (the guy who made the different version) I thought, I'll change the old version and put the new version, but I didn't know that I couldn't change the old version for another one Felipe Fidelis Tobias (talk) 16:10, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, I just wished to ask to understand as multiple people have been making that edit recently and I was wondering if there was a Wikiproject or the like where it was erroneously tagged as a to do item. Cheers. Canterbury Tail talk 12:28, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
