Please do not add interpretation to articles

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Macbeth appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Instead, it would be more appropriate to write that "according to this source, this scholar or these scholars believes Shakespeare meant this," rather that writing that Shakespeare held an interpretation that he did not explicitly state. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Little Lord Fauntleroy (1980 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Barry Jackson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Sources for nimism

edit

Hello Fewskulchor!

I came across nimism, an article you created back in 2009, while going through old articles without sources. I tried to look for some, but couldn't find any, with Google Scholar or on JSTOR or by searching the web; the term also doesn't appear in either the OED or Merriam-Webster. Where did you come across it? Vahurzpu (talk) 01:32, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
