A tag has been placed on Hedsteem, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Where Anne hath a will, Anne Hathaway. 19:59, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
The article Hedsteem has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:40, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Nichrome has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9IMIoJw61M (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:41, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi, you added a huge table to this article but there is no explanation as to what the values are. Please added a title or description to it. Thanks. Wizard191 (talk) 19:50, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Your addition to Nichrome has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. http://jacobs-online.biz/nichrome_wire.htm Wizard191 (talk) 16:37, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Sir, I did try using that page as a reference, but the bot removed it because of the link's content. Frankly I don't care that much, it is just that that site I am referring to (http://jacobs-online.biz/nichrome_wire.htm) has so much more useful information, it seems it is the web authority. I made a 4 foot nichrome foam cutter and was able to easily control the temperature because of his awesome site. Wikipedia is the best encyclopedia in the world, and should have that technical info here. If I can't reference it, and I can't copy from it giving him credit, then just because one site already has it we can't?
That seems like saying, because encyclopedia brand x already covers everything, encyclopedia brand y will have all blank pages. help me out here, how can we get some of that content in this page?
- Sorry for not responding earlier, but I didn't have you on my watchlist. The reason the content was removed is because it was copy and pasted from the website, which isn't allowed due to copyright issues. You can reference it, but you must write the actual content in your words. Wizard191 (talk) 21:01, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Re
editYour anger is unwarranted. Nothing on Wikipedia should be taken personally, or else perspective is lost and spend more time is spent fighting than editing productively. The focus should be on improving the article, not on how your ego was injured in the process. Nor should you make assumtions about me or my motives, because, as the saying goes, assumptions inevitably make you look like an ass.
Semper Fidelis is already listed. Destroying a currently referenced entry in favor of redundancy is certainly not warranted, no longer how long you worked on it. I did not "put any crap" (meaning that I was not the editor who added that particular bit), nor is it such: Marines did say such things in days long before you and I. Similarly, the Rifleman's creed is already linked to in the article, and the redundancy is not needed.
If you want to make a well referenced edit to Culture of the United States Marine Corps, then go ahead. But there is no need to copy down the text of what can be easily read from the image. But the main USMC article is already far too large, and the summaries there are kept to a minimum to keep it from being bloated (hence why most sections have a {{Main}} or {{See also}} template to link to the more specific articles).
If you want help, then ask me for help, but don't spit acid at me. I'm fair guy and easy to get along with, but I don't respond well to bullying. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 16:24, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
