Thank you for your recent inquiry about Amazonia. Though I've expressed the same concerns as many scholars have about Amazonia, my research area is higher altitude, generally speaking. As editor of the Society for the Study of the Indigenous Languages of the Americas' publications, I often include information on Amazonian topics. There are readers who are Amazonia specialists too.
