However it would be nice to recognise the team that beat Newport County in some way, both for the contribution of the individuals and for Robinson giving them the opportunity. Hi.

Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and also a consensus not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors from being published on the article.

The citation that you added to the article clearly states that he will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract, which is after 30 June 2017. Now that you have clearly explained why you have amended my edits to one of the pages in question, I can understand where you are coming from on certain points - I did not know for example that I shouldn't put a national side in an infobox when a player is called up, if they haven't made an appearance. However, there is absolutely no need to make threats of blocking me from editing when my intentions were good, and I was following your advice in the first place when you suggested I follow WP:FOOTY/Players. You have also removed page links to clubs from the 'Honours' section of several of my edits, when this is exactly what is shown on WP:FOOTY/Players. Finally, WP:FOOTY/Players specifically says that the guidelines are exactly that and not set in stone. I don't see any issue in putting the nationality of a division in a page article. Not everyone is aware that League One for example is in England, and could easily be confused with the French Ligue 1 for those not in the know. Unless you are going to point me in the direction of specific, set in stone guidelines, then you have no right to change edits that have been justified such as that. In future, please be more constructive and productive rather than making edits without explanation, and threatening bans on users such as myself that have good intentions at heart. **FINALLY** - I did not remove any data regarding Cissé's international stats, I don't know why you think I did. There is no record in the page history that I edited the amount of appearances he made, only you seem to have done that. Please do not make false accusations. Actually, it is *demonstrably* true that you did remove sourced and notable content at Ousseynou Cissé. This is the edit I am referring to. My apologies - I overlooked this and it was a genuine error - I thought you were referring to the appearances in the right hand infobox. I believe this happened when I was re-organising the page, cutting and pasting sections and for some reason did not cut and paste his international stats. I'll hold my hands up to that. However, please can you respond to the rest of my message - namely that WP:FOOTY/Players are guidelines only and not set in stone, and also that my inclusion of the nationality of leagues was justified (e.g. 'English' League One, to differentiate between that league and the French 'Ligue 1' and other similarly named leagues across europe.)

Please point me in the right direction of example player pages that you see as the 'gold standard' so I know what to follow in future, as WP:FOOTY/Players doesn't seem to be it. Also - again I would appreciate it if you would not make threats of banning me considering my intentions were good and not malicious. I contribute a lot of content to certain pages and have invested dozens of hours creating and editing season/player pages (as have you), and to be accused of things without constructive feedback, especially when you can see I was following WP:FOOTY/Players, is uncalled for. Why, for example did you remove the club page links in the 'Honours' section of certain page edits I made, when WP:FOOTY/Players shows this in the template? It has never been standard practice to include nationalities with leagues. If readers are curious about this, which they may well be, they can click the wikilinked text. That's what they're there for.

It's hard to think any one page that meets a 'gold standard', after all no page is perfect. In theory, the articles at WP:FOOTY#Featured content should be the closest to this, as they have been reviewed against the FA/FL/GA criteria.

The club names in honours sections are effectively section headings, and I don't know why WP:FOOTY/Players encourages that they should be linked, nor why it includes the redundant colon. See MOS:LINKSTYLE, which states that "Section headings should not themselves contain links". Mattythewhite (talk) 15:53, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

Good work on revising the Stadium article. May I suggest that you follow through now by getting the current Stadium MK article deleted and the current Stadium mk moved to that name. Although I know how to move an article to an unused name, I don't know how you move over an existing article. @Salimfadhley: I assume you have compared this draft to other similar rivalry pages. I have looked through several approved, long-standing similar rivalry articles and several do not provide any more substantial secondary source articles on those rivalries than this draft does. Please check pages such as: Cross-border derby, Lincolnshire derby, Humber derby etc. There are many more. Considering the amount of time and effort I have put in to this article, with substantially more references than one or two of the above approved rivalry articles, I would say that you should overturn this and approve. If you are still not satisfied, please specify exactly what you want me to include in order for it to be approved, as long as it is consistent with other approved rivalry articles. There is no specific requirement for 'significant coverage' for a rivalry to exist. The various sources I linked to wish illustrate a rivalry should be more than sufficient - I have included sources which mention mediation between the two clubs, damage by supporters, extensive media coverage in the press due to the history etc. Common sense would suggest this is more than enough!   Hi @Tamzin, thank you for reaching out. I'm not familiar with "templatespace" and Google takes me to Template:Spaces which doesn't seem to be the right place. Wherever this "templatespace" is, I assume I can just paste the template in there and submit it for review that way?   Whoops, sorry for the jargon there! By "templatespace" I mean the "Template:..." namespace. It looks like similar templates use titles like Template:2016–17 EFL Championship PFA Team of the Year, so here Template:2021–22 EFL League One Team of the Season would make sense for a title. You can just click on that redlink and copy-paste the markup from your sandbox. (Normally there are issues with copy-pasting, but when you're the sole contributor to something it's fine. The reason I say to copy-paste it and not just move the page is that, if you moved it, other unrelated sandbox edits would wind up in that template's history. To avoid that kind of thing, you can always draft at User:FilthyDon/some subpage name and move that when you're ready.) We were so close to automatic promotion, just threw it away with unbelieveable losses in the last few weeks to low-ranking clubs. But Milton Keynes Dons F.C.#2018–present: Bounce-back and search for stability needs to say something about it.
