Please do not introduce WP:OR into articles. The genres in the article are based on verifiable, citable information dervied from critical reception, composition, etc. Candyo32 (talk) 19:17, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article is not WP:OR, but it's hard for you to cite radio references.
Um, radio references are WP:OR. And the composition section directly says dance-pop and eurodisco. Also the song has charted on the US Mainstream Top 40 (Pop Songs) chart, just saying. Candyo32 (talk) 19:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Please refrain from changing music genres without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Continued genre changes to suit your own point of view may result in a block. Thank you.Candyo32 21:54, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Recent changes to Genres

edit

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. You have made a number of changes to sourced genres across various articles which are not supported by the references in those articles. In all cases you have provided a brief statement in the edit summary but it does not explain where the information has come from and therefore your changes have constituted original research. In future it is suggested that use make use of talk pages to discuss your concerns seen that it appears that you are having trouble with genres in music articles. Any further edits of this nature which are unsourced or original research may result in you being blocked/banned from editing. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:16, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Candyo32 05:54, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
