Your articles

Firstly, I know the Edison Ogre was deleted because it was complete nonsense. Secondly, I didn't delete them, I just tagged the first one. Only administrators can delete articles. Leebo T/C 10:33, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's not a matter of whether or not an article about "The Edison Ogre" could possibly exist. Maybe there is something to write about. What you wrote made no sense. There was no effort to make the article verifiable. I can't just take your word that there's an Edison Ogre, you need to provide reliable sources and assert the notability of the subject.
And the admins stay on top of everything because they are excellent, trusted editors. That and the tag lets them know where to look for articles that may warrant deletion. Leebo T/C 02:49, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Chris colon

edit

A tag has been placed on Chris colon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seinfreak37 16:48, 4 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
