Teancum
editI think your doing a great job on the Teancum article; please keep up the good work.
You may want to look at Talk:Mormonism#"Cites Religious text without citing sources which critically analyze those texts" for an explanation of the usage of the Template:Religious text primary on Teancum and other articles. These tags are not badges of shame, or criticism of the work put into the article; instead it invites any anyone that views that page to fix a critical issue with the page that would keep it from reaching a GA class rating. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 19:21, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your assistance in my editing. As I am relatively new to WP editing, I've not fully read up on all the details, so your experience is appreciated. Do you think that the Teancum article has enough secondary citations now? Also, what do you think needs to be done with this article to improve it? How can I help? Regards, --Firinne (talk) 20:09, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- I think it's good for now; it would eventually be useful if there were a few more secondary source references, such as an applicable general conference talk, a CES manual entry, a BYU paper, &/or a Dialogue article. An image that meets cc-by-sa would also be nice on the article, if one could be found.
- If there is another article you'd like to have someone help you with, just let me know. I'm what's called a WikiGnome here at WP; I'm very good with some of the fine details, minor corrections, and other cleanup tasks, but I'm not as good with generating multiple paragraphs worth of new material. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 23:53, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Teancum Good Article Nomination
editHi. I am afraid I have had to quick-fail this nomination as falling substantially short of the GA criteria. Please visit the review page to see why. Please don't be discouraged as the work you have done is a good start - keep improving it and don't be afraid to renominate it when you feel you meet the Good Article criteria. - DustFormsWords (talk) 03:35, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
