Killbuck station moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Killbuck station. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 13:22, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Airship. You are right that the Killbuck station lacks notability - its was a small,barely-used station in the middle of nowhere. That is why I marked it as a stub. I am trying to fill out the Erie Railroad stations in Western New York and was moving down to the line. Based on your comments, I will focus on the ones that actually have more information. Erie Railroad station articles
editHi. My name is User:Mitchazenia. I am an admin here on Wikipedia. I also happen to be an expert on the Erie Railroad and the main writer of their articles around here. I'd like to offer you some help, since it's mostly my templates you have been using. Please reach out to me. Mitch32(it's you I like.) 23:53, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Mitchazenia and thanks for your message. I appreciate your work, especially all the info on the old Erie station in Salamanca (RIP). I am doing less on Wikipedia these days as I am in the process of reviving my old website on railroad history in WNY (originally wnyrails.org, then wnyrails.net, and now nyrails.org). It is slow going since not all of the old site is archived on archive.org and I am having to rebuild it all from scratch using WordPress.
- As background, I grew up two doors down from the tracks in Randolph. Despite not living there for 40 years, that area is still near and dear to me.
- All the Best,
