Hi, Fit, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your article about notice periods. I happened to notice that part of the article is copied and pasted directly from the government website you cited. I just wanted to let you know: need to be very careful about copying and pasting text from a source; in fact, it's almost always better to just restate it in one's own words. In this case, it's actually okay, because the Open Government Licence that the page is released under is free enough for us to use, but even so, we have to directly state that we're copying it from them; simply adding it as a reference isn't enough. I'll update the article for you to make it a bit clearer. And like I say, we need to be very careful about the license of things we reuse: if it doesn't allow the same rights as Wikipedia's CC-BY-SA licence, then we can't use it. Hi Writ Keeper, I would like to thank you for your comment and revision. Before I typed the reference to gov.uk, I had read the advices to the Open Government Licence on the GOV.UK website and I thought it is enough to comply with the licence of GOV.UK, but only now – after your revision – it is correct.--Fit (talk) 09:40, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
