Woohoo sample
editHey, Flatluigi. The sample of "Woohoo" at 2:46 on "Let It Out" is the clapping and scratch sounds. Listening to the instrumental of "Woohoo" on YouTube should make it clearer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyapNdurYIc 112.203.54.87 (talk) 06:03, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, I hear it now - the bits closer to the end. I was thinking you were saying it was the part from 2:22 or so, which definitely isn't it. --flatluigi(talk/contrib) 06:11, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
The Duke Williams sample is of the drum break. 112.203.54.87 (talk) 06:07, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- That's actually the Talking Heads sample labeled a few seconds further down. I'll fix that one.--flatluigi(talk/contrib) 06:12, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, my bad! I was looking up the list of missing samples for that drum break, and I didn't bother to listen to "Take Me to the River". 112.203.54.87 (talk) 06:18, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- What's the Biggie sample you're listing there? The drum break, too? --flatluigi(talk/contrib) 06:20, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- I wasn't the one who added that Biggie sample in the first place; someone with the IP address 67.36.179.211 did (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=All_Day_(album)&diff=next&oldid=397882034). Having gone through the history, I saw that he originally placed the timing of the Biggie sample at 1:33, and then changed it to 1:08. I couldn't really hear anything at 1:08, but I saw that at 1:33 Girl Talk might have combined the Talking Heads and Biggie drum beats, so I changed it back. However, I'm not really sure about this, so you can contact the original user to be sure. 112.203.54.87 (talk) 09:14, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Also, I see that you removed my sample addition of Fatman Scoop's "Party Anthem" from the All Day page. However, I have readded it, as the sample is in fact from the track: "don't stop, get it, get it" from 1:16 on "Get It Get It" is an exact match with the "don't stop, get it, get it" from 1:23 on "Party Anthem" ([1]) 112.203.54.87 (talk) 09:44, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
