Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bigbadbass, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

I don't know what sock puppetry is? All I know is that McGeddon, whoever he is, seems to have a grievance against Lord TobyJug, he removes any relevant links I post within 10 minutes of me writing and editing the page. This as gone on for two years or more. Surely that can't be right ?— Preceding unsigned comment added by FlingelBunt64 (talkcontribs) 11:20, 19 February 2015‎

Like it says above, "Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy." - click the "sockpuppetry" link to find out more, and to learn why it's unhelpful for a user to pretend to be half a dozen different people.
I've only been editing the article for four months, and feel that I've only been removing problematic content per Wikipedia's strong biography policy. (I've done a lot of general cleanup and improvement on the article, and actually updated it to include Jug's newly formed party before you did.) If you missed it, several editors responded to your helpdesk question explaining what to do if you think an article about you has factual errors. Making more accounts with different names to add "but maybe the opposite is also true confusingly" to the article is not the way to do it. --McGeddon (talk) 15:04, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
