Thanks for the signature box
Thanks Florrie , that's very kind, Do i check or uncheck the "Raw signature box" in prefs ? When I check it I get told ""Invalid raw signature; check HTML tags"" . When I uncheck it my signature is not turning out and appears as this -[[<small><span style="border:1px solid black;padding:1px;">[[User:Sticks66|<font style="color:black;background:white;">'''Sticks'''</font>]][[User talk:Sticks66|<font style="color:white;background:red;">'''66'''</font>]] (talk) 12:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC) Hope I haven't mucked up what you created.
- Brilliant. Thankyou so much.-Sticks66 12:29, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
To present
2001–present format edit theme on Karmichael Hunt. It was more to do with the infobox effectively saying he had retired from international and inter-state rugby league. Interesting though I thought the infobox template pushed for a 2001-present rather than 2001- . I prefer the open one. CorleoneSerpicoMontana (talk) 02:48, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
100 Year Resource
I gather that the 100 Years of RL book is a brilliant source and contains all of those Grand Final line-ups from the more obscure years that you've been completing? Fantastic. I'll have a look in the Whitaker Player Encyclopaedia and see if he has any of the Christian names for those where you've got initials. Best -Sticks66 09:22, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
your question from RFD
Hi there Florrie. In answer to your question from RFD (which is better answered here, since it's not related to the specific deletion discussion): For obvious attack redirects, just go ahead and tag them with {{db-attack}} yourself, without going through the RFD process. "Obvious" means something like a clearly disparaging (and unrelated) term redirected to the name of a person or other entity; or, as in this case especially, redirecting the name of a person or group to some disparaging term. If it's not obvious, there may be a legitimate reason for the redirect, so those should go to RFD. In short, though, if an attack page is eligible for speedy deletion, best to delete it as quickly as possible - so go ahead and do it. — Gavia immer (talk) 14:37, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Many thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Cheers, •Florrie•leave a note• 22:04, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Triple J Hottest 100 tables
Sure, you can help if you want. I'm going from 1989 up, so if you go from 2006 down, we'll meet somewhere in the middle, eh? Alex G (talk) 11:40, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Uh-oh, had a conflict here for 2005. I'm sorry. What exactly would you like to do? RaNdOm26 (talk) 12:28, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
I do 2004 and 2003, after that I'll rest. Sorry again, I feel terrible. RaNdOm26 (talk) 12:54, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Sure, I'm working from upwards, so we'll probably meet around 1996 or so. Go ahead with 2001, and 2002 by all means. Thanks, by the way, you 2 have really helped a lot. Alex G (talk) 01:34, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I will make tables for 1998 and 1999 for today, thanks. RaNdOm26 (talk) 02:15, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
There's 2 artists I don't know the country of, and wiki and google don't help either. The 2 are: Barefoot - Baby in 1993, and Pale - Lemon Spark in 1994. Any ideas what I should do with them? I've just left them blank for the time being. Alex G (talk) 06:53, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Artists with multiple entries
Hello Florrie. After looking at the 'artists with multiple entries' section for each countdown, I think it would look neater and tidier if they were converted to a table as well. It also looks better together with the new tables we are creating. I'm testing one in my sandbox] at the moment. Please see and comment. RaNdOm26 (talk) 08:02, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Category Rugby
The preamble reads or certainly used to read (since I wrote it) that the category is for the sport of rugby (pre 1895) and for sports derived from rugby. Rugby union dates from 1895 just as rugby league does (prior to this it was not called rugby union) and sports such as Wheelchair Rugby and rugby sevens are comparatively recent.GordyB (talk) 22:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- In that case the preamble has been changed somewhere along the line. Either that needs to be fixed or RL and RU need to be moved out as at the moment it reads as though they shouldn't be there. Cheers, •Florrie•leave a note• 22:23, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll have a go at re-wording the preamble. It's complicated because if I state that this category belongs to any sport descended from Rugby school rules then that would include American football which seems wrong and Wheelchair rugby isn't very rugby like either.GordyB (talk) 18:18, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've done my best to reword the preamble and have added rugby league back in accordingly.GordyB (talk) 11:48, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Actually I've changed my mind and decided to wait for a consensus before rearranging cats and subcats.GordyB (talk) 20:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- I like the wording you have there now, Gordy. ...as a catch-all term, may refer to two related but separate sports: rugby league and rugby union as well as several other sports derived from them. This category is for articles about rugby football prior to the 1895 schism that split the sport into the modern games of rugby union and rugby league and for articles about sports that derive from first laws of rugby drawn up in 1871. But you are right about consensus, always a good thing! Cheers, •Florrie•leave a note• 22:11, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Clive Churchill
I dunno what's going on with the Clive Churchill article. It might be vandalism. Used to be huge. Haven't undone it coz I thought there might be something I don't know about goin on.--Jeff79 (talk) 16:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I read through the history and apparently the bulk was removed as it was a copy violation - can't remember the site it was supposedly lifted from - RL1908 maybe? I can add a bit from the ABC of Rugby League and Whiticker's but it should be a pretty decent article given the man's history. I'm hopeless at 'expanding' articles, though. - I've mentioned it to Sattlersjaw and maybe he'll make a start. If he gets involved we can be sure it will be thorough and well cited. -Sticks66 22:44, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I hope he does! That'd be excellent. •Florrie•leave a note• 07:23, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

100 Greats - Lots of Work
I was away this weekend & got back to find so much done. I initially thought "Hooray, an historical project that users are getting behind". But now I've realised all the work is yours plus a bit from MD. Well done though, you've been busy and those halls must have been lonely with the wind whistling through.-Sticks66 13:09, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- It's a nice little project, really. I know my family is appreciating all the "did you know" stories of long-dead and dustily-obscure footballers over dinner... I just know they are. •Florrie•leave a note• 13:34, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Sydney Roosters spam
Please do not revert the changes made to the Sydney Roosters Supporters section. It is not spam, it is informing the number of members the club has and also the name of the memberbase and what it consist of. In no way shape or form does it try to sell memberships or persuade to, its just posting sources. I have been making updates to the Sydney Roosters page for nearly 2 years as Sbryce858, I appreciate if you do not reverte it.220.245.99.8 (talk) 09:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- How is giving information on memberships and voting rights not spam? It reads like a recruitment campaign.
- Amid declining crowd numbers in 2007, the Sydney Roosters implemented a marketing campaign designed to recruit members to the football club. Labelled 'Freddy's 5000' after head coach Brad 'Freddy' Fittler, the campaign aimed at targetting 5000 members to the Roosters before the season commenced. Sydney Roosters membership can be divided into two areas, season ticket members and non-season ticket members. Both membership types have full voting rights. As of the 25th of February 2008, the Roosters currently have 4880 members.
- A better version might be:
- Amid declining crowd numbers in 2007, the Sydney Roosters implemented a marketing campaign designed to recruit members to the football club. As at 25 February 2008, the Roosters currently have 4880 members.
- Include a WP:Verifiable source and keep it factual, might help to keep the info there. I'll edit the entry to this version for now and tag it until you can find a published source. •Florrie•leave a note• 09:53, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm not too sure how to cite stuff on wikipedia but there is the link for it.220.245.99.8 (talk) 10:55, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, I'll pop it in! •Florrie•leave a note• 12:37, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Jeff St. John ?
Teach Me How To Fly. Now it's been a mighty long time since I've heard that. Didn't realise you were such an Australian music guy Florrie. -Sticks66 14:11, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Big time. :) And writing up that music list I've discovered Jeffrey doesn't have his own article. Another one for the to-do list! •Florrie•leave a note• 14:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Photos
Thanks again. Would you have time at some stage to step me through how you upload and also copy the copyright rationale ? If so maybe we could use the "Burge Family" photo at that same photo library search which I would like to load to Burge Family as the example. -Sticks66 13:33, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sure - maybe in a few days, crook at the moment. The public domain rationale is lovely and easy. I'll drop a note on your talk page during the week. •Florrie•leave a note• 02:15, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
