why can't I blank my talk page?
editi read the dumb msg already. no need to keep trash around --76.64.180.9 (talk) 02:35, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- FYI any user can blank their user talk page for any (or no) reason. Blankings like that shouldn't be reverted, even if users are blanking warnings. Prodego talk 04:03, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Inappropriate use of rollback
editHello. I noticed that you performed a rollback on this edit (revert diff). Please note that rollback should only be used to revert obvious vandalism. In this case, you were reverting an edit that 1. Was not vandalism, 2. Was performed by a bot that was only trying to do its job and 3. The sandboxes are not permanent storage space for your articles. Bots will regularly clean the sandboxes and you should not revert them. Please only use rollback for appropriate means. K6ka (talk | contribs) 04:14, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, I was on Sandbox with the intention of making my own test edits, not reverting vandalism. I knew that the bots were there to clean the Sandbox and did not think that their edits were vandalism. On occasion, I see users (myself included) using rollback feature to do a self revert. NHRHS2010 RIP M.H. (1994-2014) 04:21, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Using rollback to revert your own edits is perfectly fine, even if your edits were constructive (though I don't see why you would do that most of the time). However, this wasn't a self-revert. Test edits in the sandbox is fine, but when the bots clean the sandbox, let them do their job. Nobody really cares about test edits anyone makes (unless they just happen to be in that sort of thing).
- Seeing that you are a registered editor, it may be better for you to make your test edits in your own personal sandbox, found here. You can do pretty much anything you want there, and you don't need to worry about bots cleaning it (because nobody cares about that sandbox, so you can play in it and make a big of a mess as you want in it). K6ka (talk | contribs) 04:27, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- nah I'd still clean it either way so it does not matter whether I use the regular Sandbox or my own. It's just a test edit. (I just saw that admin Prodego used the regular Sandbox to make one test edit and reverted himself). NHRHS2010 RIP M.H. (1994-2014) 04:30, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Cleaning the sandbox after you're done is just a courtesy - it's not strictly required ;) K6ka (talk | contribs) 04:32, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Foul-mouthed IP
editI did see your note at AIV, but I usually like to leave the talkpage unblocked initially just to give them a fair chance at requesting an unblock. When it becomes apparent that isn't going to happen - as in this case - talkpage revocation is only a mouse-click away. Incidentally, RPP would be a pretty slow way to get the talkpage access removed - your best bet would be AIV again (or you could just ask me!). Thanks for keeping a watchful eye out. 1. Please check this article. Currently second and third paragraph of 'history' section reads:
"Cars like the customer, but as a result of a contract for the supply of Tiger and has not been signed, but Jordan's Al Dulayle Arab-Jordanian joint venture Advanced Industries of Arabia (AIA, 80% of the shares in BJG) beginning with the June 2005 production of identical armored Nimr in a variety of designs. So Gaza is still hurt - designed and ready for series production car. At GAZ were collected several cars second series - with a different interior and exterior styling. They called GAZ-233034 "Tiger" were presented at the MIMS-2002"
This seems to be really bad english. Cars like customers, or vice versa? How Gaza is related to GAZ Tigr? This article has some issues.
2. It was constructive remark, i just do not know how to use those fancy templates nor i know which one is suitable. Hope you can help me with that. Also, posting a message labelling certain edit as vandalism on a basis of the form only, without checking the validity or reasoning behind the edit seems to go against basic rules such as "assume good faith". You really need to be more, much more friendly toward new users...
