Welcome
editHello, Flyseabird, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Request reason:
This is not spam or advertising page. Because our company just established last year. Already refered in the page of de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter as Turkish DHC-6 300 operator. And we gives only basic information about our company in that page. As Maldivian Air Taxi. If it's necessary, we can change user name
Decline reason:
No response to query below in five days. — Daniel Case (talk) 14:16, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:20, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to unblock your account if you can answer the questions above. Magog the Ogre (talk) 04:32, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
- As am I :-) He'd need to use {{unblock-spamun|proposed name}} and clearly understand the notability under WP:CORP, but I'm quite willing to be convinced that the edits they've done so far won't be repeated (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:05, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

You know, whether they bother to respond to the query or not, I have to admit this is a great name for an airline. Think of the ads you could run:
- "What airline do you wanna fly?"
- "SEA BIRD!"
- And then you could license the song:
- "Won't you fly high, oh Seabird YEAH!".
- Too bad there's already a Free Bird Airlines in Turkey. Daniel Case (talk) 05:23, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
Of course I know that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a business directory.
But, as a habit, I chose that user name. Because our slogans or web site are always contain that word.
I'm sorry and apologize about that misunderstand.
And in my first answer I asked about change my user name also. But my IP also blocked and I couldn't change it.
Also I know and can understand what is the difference between advertising and Encyclopedic content. Also I'm always defending free and easy accessible internet content without ads.
It's important for me to be well understanding about my target why we want to be in Wikipedia.
And also I should indicate that our company already registered as an airline and air taxi company by TCAA Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, and our registered company name is Seabird Airlines (Denizkuşu Havayolları - in Turkish)
For these reasons, I think my request, to be unblocked my account and article, is acceptable.
- As already advised, the name cannot be unblocked due to our username policy and you're not likely to be unblocked if your intent is to create a spam article about a company you have WP:COI. Just because your company exists does not make it notable. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:02, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
