It's deleted. If you ever see the nonsense back up on that page again, just add {{csd-g4}} to the top of the article, and an admin will come by and probably delete it. And dont forget to WP:SIG sign your posts on talk pages! Daniel.Bryant 04:41, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

HelpMe: Revert?

edit

On Wikipedia, I've often seen people stating they've "reverted" a page to a previous version. Is there a specific link or button to revert to a page's previous history version, or is it simply removing the changes so it matches an earlier version? Thanks!

See WP:RV. Thanks. --Alex (Talk) 21:18, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. I might have missed some of your comments on the WoW deletion article, can you try to dig them up and add {{subst:unsigned|Fmmarianicolon}} at their end? Thanks a lot and Happy Editing! -- lucasbfr talk 17:03, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nice rewrite on Ultimate X-Men (story arcs)

edit

I really like your rewrite of my edit on Ultimate X-Men (story arcs). Moving the "modernised retelling of the classic 'X-Men'" sentence into the plot outline was genius. I just hope this page doesn't get deleted out from under us. ;-) I know if this was happening after we fixed it, it would be a keep. - Peregrinefisher 10:41, 1 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm trying to shape up these Ultimate ... (story arcs) pages and could use your help (it's a lot of work). I love the refs you added, so I did a bit of the same to Ultimate Fantastic Four (story arcs), although it's far from done. Luckily, Ultimate Spider-Man (story arcs) is almost done, except refs. And, of course we're about half way with Ultimate X-Men (story arcs). One idea I had was to put the current summaries on the talk page and replace each with a blank
Published between:
Artists:
Plot outline:
First appearances:
Deaths:
Notes:

What do you think? I'm hoping that would encourage people to fill out the sections instead of adding to giant summaries. - Peregrine Fisher 09:14, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heroes (TV series)

edit

Hey, thanks for cleaning up the Reception section. The 11th reference, the one for Time Magazine, is messed up and i have no clue how to fix it. If you have a moment, you might wanna check it out. dposse 20:37, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. dposse 02:23, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Could use a hand again over at Talk:List of characters in Heroes. SOmeone's again created a table, even worse than the first. I thought we were getting to some consensus, but too many peopel are eager to throw up any old table and make a mess of it. ThuranX 05:07, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

(HelpMe) Citing an audio podcast

edit

I want to edit reference #7 on Heroes (TV Series), which leads to an MP3 audio-only podcast. I'm not sure whether to use the citation template for web or video. I also thought about the using the episode as it has an entry for the timestamp of the specific reference, but the template is designed for TV episodes. (The series of podcasts do have episode numbers though. If there is no podcast template, which other template should I use?

Well, we have Template:Cite podcast, which you could use, but it doesn't seem to take many parameters (no episode or timestamp, I think). You can use it if you want, or just type out the reference by hand--use of templates is optional, after all. --Sopoforic 23:02, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

cricket

edit

Nice comment, thanks. if you get the chance to see any cricket on cable etc, do as I did when I first started watching baseball. Work out the basics of the game and ignore the jargon and complexities. Basically, in baseball, the batter needs to hit the ball so he can get round. The pitcher wants to get him out. Similarly in cricket. It's a wonderfully deep and strategic sport that rewards careful watching. Enjoy! --Dweller 13:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ultimate X-Men (story arcs)

edit

We've got more than 45 refs, now, and I went through and copy edited the whole page. I took out what I thought was OR, and I think we're ready for a peer review or whatever it takes to get a GA designation. Here's a dif of the changes. What do you think? - Peregrine Fisher 20:47, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I put it up for peer review at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Comics/Peer_review#Requests, although it doesn't look like there's much activity on the page. Hope you don't mind. - Peregrine Fisher 00:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Very cool, a detailed critique. Judging by the other articles up for review, we're doing well, since they barely got a response. Lot's of things to fix is actually good, counterintuitively. I think asking the 2nd AfD people to have a look would be good, since I think they would be likely to respond. I'm going to post something on the comics wikiproject talk page, too. - Peregrine Fisher 04:47, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think I'll decline. Thanks anyway. Davidpdx 07:51, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good. I'll work on it tomorrow as well. It's going well, I think. - Peregrine Fisher 08:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reversion of .07% ??

edit

Hi!

Just wondering why my additions to the .07% article on Heroes were removed? I wasn't experimenting, I was adding information on what the episode will be about. How was this wrong?

I'm not entirely sure if I've been "warned" or something, but I find it strange to say the least. Granted that I might've missed something on how exactly this information should be edited, and I admit to that mistake, but the information was right.

You can reach me at stormhierta @ gmail.com - I will also try to register a user account with Wikipedia to see if it becomes any easier then. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.141.92.46 (talk) 21:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Can we separate the films and the TV shows (and specials)? The films I think can go OK with the chart, but I'm not sure if the TV shows can (or should) go in a chart because of the number of guest roles he has performed. - fmmarianicolon | Talk 18:30, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I guess we can!... G.-M. Cupertino (talk) 13:01, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I separated the two categories. I also adjusted the chart to include the additional information about the episode appearances. How does it look? - fmmarianicolon | Talk 21:56, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Still needs some disambiguations, like in The Guardian. I'd have kept the rest of the information, as well as the red links for, in the Future, when the pages are created, they automatically appear instead of having to search and add the links. The rest is fine. G.-M. Cupertino (talk) 12:47, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
