Why did you exercise this edit? How should this biography article become more wikified? There's also an external link, which cover's all the material in the article... Seems like you clicked a little too fast, sorry! lil2mas (talk) 22:55, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

'Reply Thank you my friend. I have removed wikify template. God bless. Freshymail-user_talk:fngosa--the-knowledge-defender 23:01, 23 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why have you requested deletion on this article? It is of a fully-professional athlete who has made an appearance in a fully professional league. GauchoDude (talk) 19:28, 24 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your message. please find explaination at the article's talk page. cheers. Freshymail-user_talk:fngosa--the-knowledge-defender 19:29, 24 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • So what the heck was that all about? Just trying to delete articles to clean up wikipedia without doing your own background research to see if they should or shouldn't be included in the first place? While I appreciate you removing your unjustified deletion request, I hope we don't meet again as I will be adding a lot more WPS players in the near future, many like the Frisk article ... But fear not! Most of my edits (as you can check) are football/soccer related ... I know what I'm doing, kthx. GauchoDude (talk) 19:40, 24 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. As i mentioned on the article talk page, the article did not have enough content initially. please draft you article with sufficient content and references before publishing it... if published without sufficient content, you may add appropriate template to tell editors that the article is been edited. article with insufficient content, no references, poorly written, attacking, blatant hoax, vandalism need not to be on wikipedia. I don't target any one in my new page patrol. thank you mate once more. 19:45, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Cool, good night. thanks for contributing to wikipedia project. 19:58, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion tagging

edit

Hi, I've removed the speedy deletion tags you have placed on several articles. {{db-g6}} does not apply to Nickelodeon (Korea) because this article is a valid stub. {{db-afd}} does not apply to Marginal lending facility because this topic has never been discussed in an AfD debate. Please read an essay by Balloonman (talk · contribs), Wikipedia:Why I hate Speedy Deleters, which is about how incorrect speedy tagging harms the encyclopedia. Thanks, Cunard (talk) 07:20, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you friend for checking over some articles which i listed for speed deletion. as you mentioned on the article Wikipedia:Why I hate Speedy Deleters, it is good that you agree that our work is vital to protect credible knowledge, not to promote knowledge shared in bad faith such as attacks, adverts, writing about unknown celebrities by vandals etc. yes, some times an article OBVIOUSLY illegible for speed deletion may be given a wrong CSD tag. i personally tend to give obvious deletable articles House keeping tag to keep it simple. If i feel that the deletion of an article will be contested, i always provide explanation on the article's talk page.
Every advise is welcome and i always take it seriously. Thank you my friend. thank you also for contributing to wikipedia. Freshymail-user_talk:fngosa--the-knowledge-defender 13:23, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why Wikipedia:Patent_nonsense applies to Plumber's Mait. It is incomplete, yes, but it does explain what the stuff is, and the article is hardly gibberish. PGibbons (talk) 17:00, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reply: Hi mate, some articles are given wrong speed deletion tags for convenient. It is not a big deal, at the end of the day, what ever tag i give it, it will still be deleted. The article in question is an ambiguous advertisement. wikipedia is not here to protect your products, it is not an advertising website like ebay. we all know that wiki entry comes up first on google, and it will be wrong for product to come up first on wiki, then direct the customer to your website indicated as a reference. please, provide Tertiary sources for your articles, directing readers to website selling the named product in articles is really bad. it is not the policy of Wikipedia community to advertise goods. I hope i have provided explanation why your article Plumber's Mait was tagged for speed deletion. thank you for contributing to wikipeddia. 17:34, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
That one's not G11. Not even close. Prod or AfD if you want, but it is not speedy-able. Tim Song (talk) 17:45, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Refer to the article's talk page. add a bit more, providing references from tertiary sources and the speed deletion will be void.

Removal of PROD from Monzievaird

edit

Hello Fngosa, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Monzievaird has been removed. It was removed by Phil Bridger with the following edit summary '(remove prod tag as the article now has more content)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Phil Bridger before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:48, 25 September 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages)Reply

Thank you bolt. keep up your good work. 21:10, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletions

edit

Hi Fngosa - please be careful with the speedy deletion notices! You added a db-nocontent tag to Rateen, despite the fact that it contained non-trivial information. Admittedly, it was a very small stub, but it contained details of the location and one fact that were not "a restatement of the title" and therefore not an A3 candidate, plus a note that more would be added soon. Under those circumstances it would have been better to leave it a few hours to see if more was going to be added (it was). As such, I've declined the speedy. Grutness...wha? 01:11, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Mr. Admin Grutness. If you read my notes about speed deletion contests above, you will realize that I have made some suggestion on the best way to contest. Indeed, the author of the article Rateen followed my instruction on the best way to contest. I am glad that he has added a lot, and the article deserves to stay for sure.
I am a new page patroller, and i judge articles as they are published, not how they may come to be later. Thank you.
Please stop this. If it does not fit a speedy criterion, don't put a speedy tag on it. Don't use a wrong speedy tag "for convenience". It bites the newcomer, wastes the reviewing admin's time, and the speedy will be declined anyway. The speedy criteria are narrow. The version, even at the time you tagged it, is not A3, for the reasons explained by Grutness above. Tim Song (talk) 16:58, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry my friend, look up the SPEED DELETION CONTESTS NOTES ABOVE. Thank you. 17:01, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
I read it; FYI, I don't have an article that was speedy tagged by you. But you must stop misusing the speedy tags. G6 is reserved for technical housekeeping, not badgering people to write more. There's PROD and AFD to delete articles that do not fit into the speedy criteria, and tags like {{expand}} to mark the article for cleanup, etc. Tim Song (talk) 17:25, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is more constructive criticism and i take your point about housekeeping tag. thank you. you re now my friend, 3 stars, not 5 though
