You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Alexf(talk) 12:38, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I've modified your block settings to allow you to simply create a new account with a name that does not represent an organization or website. You don't need to ask for an unblock or a username change, just log out of this account and create a new one, and make sure you follow basic site policies such aS WP:LINKSPAM and you should be fine. [[Category:{{unblock|reason=I'm all day busy with history and old things. I photograph abandoned buildings and do a lot of research of old buildings,industrial and other things. I think I can add good things that are not yet on wikipedia. What I also think is that blocking me without giving me a warning or anything is not really user friendly. I understand that this happens maybe everyday 1000 times but it's not my fault that this website is so popular. Request reason:

The website I added was added to show some more details about pablo escobar. This was not spam. I visited his abandoned house and made a photographic report about the abandoned drugs islands. The pictures and url where even in the daily mail so i don't know why this is reported as spam. When it clearly gives some extra info about Pablo escobar his richness. Decline reason:

We may not link to our own websites on Wikipedia. --jpgordon::==( o ) 19:18, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|reason=Ok I understand next time I will contact the writer of the article if i have information. Can u at least unblock me? I will not add it anymore my excuses [[User:Foantje|Foantje]] ([[User talk:Foantje#top|talk]]) 20:29, 11 March 2013 (UTC)}}

Can you please tell us what useful things you intend to do if allowed to edit Wikipedia?  Sandstein  10:20, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I have to say I do not think this block was entirely appropriate, this user made all of one edit and received no warnings prior to being indef hardblocked as a "persistent spammer". However, a full unblock of this account is also not desirable as the name matches the website they linked to, in violation of the username policy. I have therefore softened the block settings to allow the creation of a new account with a non-infringing name. I hope it is understood that continuing to add links to your own website can and will lead to that account being blocked as well, so please don't do that again. If you want to share images you have created the best thing to do would be to upload them at Wikimedia Commons, although that does require you to give up all rights assosciated with the images, it also allows the images to be used on any Wikimedia project or even other websites, so your images could really be put to some good use if you decide you want to do that. Re:your email to me

edit

I will try once more to explain the situation to you. As it is clear from the edit you made before being blocked that your name represents a website, it is not a permissible username. Since this account has only that one edit and the above block appeals there is not really a history worth keeping so the easiest thing to do is to simply create a new account with a name that does not represent a website or organization, which you may do at any time as the block is in place only to prevent the use of this name, not to prevent you from editing Wikipedia.
