Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, ForTupan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Maria-Ana Tupan, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:35, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Please be mindful not to perform controversial edits while logged out, or your account risks being blocked from editing. Please consider reading up on Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts before editing further. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:58, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don't like to repeat myself! I don't use multiple accounts, I don't make controversial edits! I posted without being logged in because the name I chose is similar to the name of the edited article (I chose it out of respect for the author), and inexperienced Wikipedians thought it was self-promotion, which is FALSE. Check MY IPs, logged in, not logged in, because I'm telling the truth. And, tell me, is it mandatory to be logged in when I edit an article? I think not. I have visible IP, that's enough!ForTupan (talk) 15:30, 29 May 2024 (UTC)

editPlease stop. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, as you did at Talk:Maria-Ana Tupan, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 14:53, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

. Girth Summit (blether) 17:05, 2 June 2024 (UTC)- Just so we are clear - you are repeatedly logging out of your account and leaving messages for people/making edits about a subject that you are editing about while logged into your account. That is inappropriate - log in to edit, so that people know who they are talking to. If you continue to make edits while logged out during the duration of this block, the block may be extended to be of indefinite duration. Girth Summit (blether) 17:06, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Girth Summit uh... I think they've continued – here and here. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 00:25, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Indeed. ForTupan, seriously - knock it off. Go and do something else for a week, or appeal the block if you are willing to commit to not editing disruptively. If you persist in just ignoring the block, we will likely end up blocking this account indefinitely, and blocking the IP ranges that you're using. Or just protecting the talk page so that you can't edit it. Girth Summit (blether) 11:54, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Girth Summit and again... here and here. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 00:58, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- ForTupan, you need to abide by our editing policies - if you are unwilling to do so, or to spend time finding out what they are, you may not contribute here. I have made the block indefinite, and have protected that talk page so that IPs cannot edit it. Instructions for appealing the block may be found at WP:GAB.
