A tag has been placed on Lucy's Retired Surfer's Bar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. - It wasn't so much as in "advertising" as it was in that it seemed to fail at establishing notability as per the requirements of WP:CORP. I could write about an independent bookstore in my city, add lots of information, but unfortunately they aren't notable enough either. -WarthogDemon 00:29, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
