edit

Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Primus (band), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 00:05, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, the genre I changed Primus to was more better reflecting of their sound and the title of “rock band” was too broad and didn’t fit for their unique style. That was the only change I was making. Forguese (talk) 04:15, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Primus (band), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 04:11, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, in what way do I need to add a source since that alternative metal is already below their genre list? Forguese (talk) 04:16, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Kyuss, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 04:30, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I politely ask again, where can I find how to use a source for genres if I can’t use the ones that are in the listed genres. If not, I will not edit ever again to avoid being banned but never use the site. Forguese (talk) 04:34, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I also want to ask why all of my edits have been undone. Especially when it comes to Adema’s genre, they are clearly not alternative rock but alternative metal or nu metal. Forguese (talk) 04:37, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I stated that I have learned my lesson and only use my account for minor edits. I apologize for the trouble I have caused in the past, but I considered Figurila as my main and that's why I said I didn't have access as in no access to editing on that account. I just logged into the account which is not any policy violation and I haven't even edited anything on the Figurila account in months, yet I just got banned for logging in. I learned the policies and rules of the website now and haven't broke one since, and I understand right from wrong and would like another chance to edit on the website. Sorry. Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you:
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information.
Your best bet here is to make no edits on any account for six months, and then request the standard offer. While it is certainly possible you learned the rules against sockpuppetry between June and September 2024, that wouldn't by itself be anywhere near sufficient to unblock. * Pppery * it has begun... 17:57, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Is there any rules about abandoning old accounts for a single one? Forguese (talk) 18:23, 26 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
This account was blocked on May 30, 2023 for abuse of multiple accounts. Every edit you made with your 99moas and Figurila accounts was block evasion and a violation of WP:SOCK. You cannot state that you've learned the policies and rules and haven't broken one since" when the truth is you were violating policy every single time you made an edit after your block in May 2023.-- Ponyobons mots 19:56, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
