Moving of pages
editHi there! I am glad you are participating as a student in our great movement. There are two issues I wanted to bring to your attention on the Deborah Wilkins move.
- Please remove the template from the top of the article as it only is used in sandbox.
- When using dates in references they have to go in as (examples) 22 May 2023 and for American English May 22, 2023. The system throws numerous issues when the date is not correct. Can you please fix these? They stand out in the references section in red letters.
Your teacher should be able to help you on this.
Thanks for participating. 2600:8801:CA05:EF00:D41E:2828:7AA7:A58D (talk) 18:10, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Viola M. Woods
editHello Forsythia222,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Viola M. Woods for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Viola M. Woods to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Viola M. Woods feedback
editHi @Forsythia222, I saw you moved your contribution on Viola Woods to mainspace. Based on that one source though, the page might not satisfy notability requirements. I suggest you find more reliable sources from academic journals or newspaper articles. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Looping in ProfBlkArt. Page moves
editHello, Forsythia222,
Please do not move pages like Viola M. Woods around multiple times. It draws attention from other editors and administrators like myself who are wondering what the problem is. There is no reason why you should need to move an article around to different namespaces unless you are moving an approved article from Draft space to main space and that would likely be done by an AFC reviewer.
If you have questions about this or editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:02, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

Viola Woods and Deborah Wilkins - defending notability
editHi @Forsythia222, These article have been nominated for deletion bc other editors are having a difficult time verifying the information in the sources you've cited. You can join these conversations to show them exactly where you found the info, like what page and where, so they can see these artists have a shot at satisfying notability. Let me know if you have any questions. Looping in ProfBlkArt. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:45, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, I submitted proposed changes to the Viola M. Woods article including correcting the artist's name to "Viola M. Wood," adding information and correcting the citation. Any help you can lend in changing the article title would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for looping me in. All best. ProfBlkArt (talk) 19:08, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
