Request reason:

I am sorry but I was deeply saddened by what happened - it always seemed to me that Wikipedia encourages editors to be Bold: to create/edit articles and expect help and support from other editors, because we are all volunteers. I couldn’t come to my senses all day when my article has been marked as "may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments" (and my account was blocked for "advertising or self-promoting") without any discussion and without even letting me to explain.

I just summarize what independent and reliable sources (with significant coverage, of course) have chosen to say about a subject. Perhaps I am a bit fan of IT and AI, or perhaps I misunderstood "Be Bold" guideline and some of my text might look like they have promotional tone. But that is totally unintentional - I never intended to do anything advertising at all. All I was trying to do was update, edit and add new articles about artificial intelligence and information technology, because I love this topic since childhood and follow almost all the news in this area.

I respect work and vigilance of the administrator who blocked me, but I kindly request an unblock - I do not spam, advertising or self-promoting in any way, nobody paid me money (or anything like that) for my efforts on Wikipedia, and I don't work for (or don't own) any of the companies I'm writing about. I have read and understood the Terms of Service and Paid-contribution disclosure (and if I receive any money for creating or editing in the future, I will tell about it on my personal page).

I will try to contribute in IT and AI topics and will be particularly careful about advertising/fan/promotional language or tone. Right now, I have almost finished a draft to complement an article about Netgear (company history, outstanding products, etc.), in my future plans to write about Fujitsu (IT company), Labelbox (AI company), Diffblue (AI company) and others. And if I have any uncertainty about whether a particular article deserves main space, I will look for an advice and I will listen to them.

If it matters then I promise to stay away from editing that article (Riiid) and even linked talk page, once and for all.

If you decide that I cannot write on any topic related to IT or AI, so be it - I also love dogs and I will be happy to write at least about them :(

P.S. Please, don't bite the newcomers. Francevbj (talk) 13:34, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

No explanation for why readysetpuppy.com is suddenly being spammed by multiple accounts on the same IP range. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:57, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Can you explain your connection to the following users:

NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:41, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I well know Charmkey – she is my wife, thanks to her I came to Wikipedia. We know that 2 users cannot use one account, so I created a separate account. We did edit several articles together - we took quests from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&gettingStartedReturn=true and tried to help Wikipedia in this way, because we didn't know "where to start", and editing together is not so scary. But we never broke the rules of Wikipedia, and if we need to confirm our identities, then we are both ready to show our documents and marriage certificate.

I don't know the rest of the accounts, but perhaps you found a connection due to similar IP addresses. The fact is that my wife and I live in a country with government censorship, so we often use proxies (not "open/anonymous" proxies of course). There is simply no other way to get to some sites in our country. Francevbj (talk) 11:58, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello again NinjaRobotPirate (talk), you probably didn't see my answer to your post, i wrote: "I don't know the rest of the accounts, but perhaps you found a connection due to similar IP addresses. Additionally, I wanted to say that readysetpuppy.com is a site that appears on the first page of Google search results for a lot of requests (that's how I found it). It contains quotes from many books about dogs and so I don't have to pay to read them (and additionally this site doesn't look like some kind of kennel or other organization) - that's why I used it. If you think it is not suitable for Wikipedia, then I promise not to use it again.

You asked to explain "why readysetpuppy.com is suddenly being spammed by multiple accounts on the same IP range", but I don't know why other people used it too - maybe they saw my contribution (the sections are similar), I don't know for sure, because I don't know these people. If our IPs are similar, then perhaps the problem is in the proxy - if so, then I promise to change my proxy provider.

If I can somehow prove my words to you (or you need any other confirmation from me) - please tell me how to do it. As I said, I am ready to show my documents to prove my identity.

TL;DR:

- I do not know the owners of accounts you listed (except for Charmkey – she is my wife and I can prove it)

- I use private proxy in my browser

- readysetpuppy.com is a quality non-commercial site from 1th google page

- I promise not to use it again

- I am ready to show my documents to prove my identity

- If that's not enough, then please tell me how can I prove my words

Good day NinjaRobotPirate (talk), 2 weeks have passed since my request to unblock. Do you still have any questions or comments for me?

If not, how long do I need to wait for a decision? Francevbj (talk) 11:10, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
