Warning messages

edit

It is good to warn users when someone has reverted and forgot to do the warning themselves. However, people using automated tools like Huggle (HG) and Twinkle (TW) usually warn as a part of the revert process and additional warnings are not necessary. --NrDg 23:55, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey sorry about that, Just twinkle confirmed that I was reverting it, So I put the message there. Most other times Twinkle will not allow me to revert, or add warning's, as it knows someone else has reverted already. Its a flaw in twinkle, which can be seen on there page noting that 2 users can revert at the same time. Thanks for your support --Frankie0607 (talk) 23:58, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yeah it is - it has happened me a bunch of times too. Just as long as you are aware of what is going on. Twinkle is a great tool but it has some funny behaviors some times to it is always a good idea to check on what it did before you trust it too much. Good to have an other vandal fighter. --NrDg 00:02, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks very much dude, I had a slippery start, But I'm back wiser, and ready to fight vandals, Your support is very welcome here, Thanks NrDg. --Frankie0607 (talk) 00:07, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your request for rollback

edit

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

 • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
 • Rollback can be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
 • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! –xeno (talk) 17:01, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Signature

edit

You might want to adjust it so it doesn't create a new line for your name. Enigmamsg 18:57, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The issue appears to be the
and
which force your sig into its own paragraph. If you remove them, your sig will stay on the same line as the rest of your message. — Kralizec! (talk) 19:30, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thomas R. Vozzella

edit

I do not know how Wikipedia works. Please help me and make the article go away. It has become a liability to Dr. Vozzella. Thanks. MusicTex (talk) 13:34, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey, The article in question has already been considered for deletion, and Is currently in the process of being reviewed. Simply deleting the Article is unnacceptable and goes agianst the process of deletion. Please understand that the article must be carefully reviewed, before the step of deleting it is taken. Any more help feel free to ask. --Frankie0607 13:37, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop this bot

edit

Please stop this bot, it's reverting at will.--Nutriveg (talk) 14:47, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

This account is not a bot, and follows policies when reverting. Thanks for your concerns. --Frankie0607 14:48, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Please explain which policy was followed here?--Nutriveg (talk) 14:53, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Please do spend a little more time examining each edit before reverting it, the above quoted edit was clearly constructive, and simply shuffled information around in a more logical fashion. –xeno talk 14:55, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
You suggested a large amount of reverts were wrong. In this case the revert may not have totally been correct, I apolgise for doing so, But 99.9% of my reverts are totally accurate. In some case huggle jumps to the next edit, while you are still looking at another edit. I may have reverted edit thinking it was a different article. But to suggest all my reverts are inaccurate, and I should be stopped is out of order. Thanks for the concern. --Frankie0607 14:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

An explanation:

Both of these reverts "collided" as huggle displayed the next edit ontop of the last one:

 1. 14:35, 20 April 2009 (hist) (diff) m Prostate cancer ‎ (Reverted edits by Nutriveg to last revision by AnomieBOT (HG))
 2. 14:35, 20 April 2009 (hist) (diff) m Cosmic microwave background radiation ‎ (Reverted edits by 67.52.48.226 to last revision by Zorrobot (HG)) (top) [rollback]

Sorry again --Frankie0607 15:08, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

It happens, just try to keep a close eye on this. –xeno talk 15:15, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

November 2009

edit

(Deleted warning)

It appears that you have made a mistake in your reverting, as clearly i was reverting a piece of vandalism, So you have infact reverted the page back to a state of vandalism, if these acts continue i will have to report you on the basis that you are misusing huggle --Frankie0607 15:35, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry. While Huggle is a great tool, it ain't perfect, and I think this edit demonstrates that. Not sure how that happened (possibly user error), but I see you have reverted to the correct version. Of course, I have deleted the false warning here, and again, my apologies. Jusdafax 15:50, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Was trying to create a Jesus Culture page, not Jesus Culture Band page...

edit

Sorry... I was puzzled why the new page I created "Jesus Culture" was redirected to a separate page "Jesus Culture Band". Sorry if I deleted the wrong thing.RichLindvall (talk) 18:46, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

No problems, I saw your note in the history that you intended to create a page saying simply "Jesus Culture" rather than "Jesus Culture (Band)", Please note you must not create Wikipedia pages for personal bands, The band or person must be notable, Thanks --Frankie0607 18:48, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Actually, though, this page is not about a band at all but rather a youth organization. Would you mind looking at the content and then restoring my page--Jesus Culture? Respectfully submitted...RichLindvall (talk) 18:51, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Do you wish to create a page called "Jesus Culture" for your youth organisation? Please note the guidlines for creating your first article, and what you must do to make it a valid article --Frankie0607 18:56, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

One author requesting blanking

edit

Recently you reverted a Mblegacy (talk · contribs · count)'s blanking of a page that essentially they were the only author of (Off2riorob's edits were solely to place prod and g12 copyright violation notices). When a page is blanked by the author, it counts as a request by the author for deletion and shouldn't be treated like vandalism. You aren't the only one who I've seen do this to users, so I want to make sure to remind editors that they should take more care in their warnings and reversions. Cheers. Syrthiss (talk) 11:56, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
