Welcome!

Hello, Freyaonthewaka, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

I moved your draft on Neil Marcus to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Neil Marcus, the preferred location for drafts awaiting review. Your sandbox currently redirects to that page and can be re-used for other purposes. You can also create additional sub-pages of your userpage as needed, such as User:Freyaonthewaka/sandbox2 or User:Freyaonthewaka/John Doe or whatever. I'd suggest adding a link to the page title you want to create to your userpage and then following the redlink; alternatively you can type the exact title of the page you want to create into the search box, and you'll receive a message that says something like this:

Wikipedia does not have a user page with this exact name. Before creating this page, please see Wikipedia:Subpages.

Unfortunately I had to decline your submission because it cited but a single independent source, and that source didn't support the draft's content. Notability requires multiple reliable, independent sources such as newspaper articles or reputable magazines to have written at least a paragraph each about Marcus, and the draft should summarize what those sources say about Marcus. If you know of additional sources that cover Marcus, please improve the draft and re-submit it. Huon (talk) 16:51, 1 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Freyaonthewaka! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.

Invitation

Please join WP:WikiProject Disability where we discuss and co-ordinate articles about disability. I discovered the article about Disability culture that you worked on and noticed that it seems to have been created "in isolation" without awareness of highly significant related articles. The WikiProject helps to break down such isolation by bringing together editors with a shared interest. Roger (talk) 20:05, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Welcome on board WikiProject Disability! Please take a look around the project's talk page and feel free to participate in discussions, work on articles, or whatever else you find to do. I've posted a few thoughts on topics related to disability culture there and I'm quite eager to see what you think of them. Roger (talk) 15:10, 6 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation

edit

Neil Marcus, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Academic library access

edit

Do you have access to an academic library? I think you mentioned somewhere that you're a student. Roger (talk) 11:43, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Is there something specific you need? I also need to get on with the rest of my semester :-). Freyaonthewaka (talk) 12:30, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
