I agree with your assessment on Cellular automaton and the citation to Melanie Mitchell. We are guided by the concept of Neutral Point of View. This lack of NPOV explains why improvements are needed. Who else is working on genetic algorithms? Feel free to discuss your thoughts on the article talk page. As we like to say at the Wikipedia BE BOLD, so I encourage you to keep contributing.

Hi there, thanks for the reassurance. Writing is always somewhat intuitive, so it's hard to know if your perspective is shared by others. Glad to know it was a fair assessment!

I have no idea who else is interested in GAs within the Wikipedia community, though it'd certainly be fantastic to be in touch with anyone who is. I left a comment on a particular page because I was genuinely interested in some information that was uncharacteristically left out, if that's what you're referring to.
