Nomination of HTTPhotos for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article HTTPhotos is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/HTTPhotos until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. A note on httphotos

Hi FromSpace,

I can imagine you're pretty frustrated with the article creation process here. I spent a fair amount of time when I started hanging out at the WP:TEAHOUSE and WP:AFD, and I've seen lots of new editors going through what you're going through now. What I learned from that is to, first, learn what the community considers to be reliable sources (mostly by observing conversations at WP:AFD and WP:RSN), and second, finding the sources first and then see what articles you can write using them. This approach is really counterintuitive. Most people think that, hey, there's not an article about (say) httphoto, they know something about httphoto, so why not write an article? That's entirely rational, but the success rate is really low.

I'll add that software articles are really difficult to write: people expect reviews for music and literature, but even critical software can be completely unremarked-upon.
