ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ban'ei, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Breton, Boulonnais and Brabançon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pál Milkovics

Hey! If you don't mind could you remove the "bold" from the other delete and keep votes and just keep one? If you want to withdraw your vote, you can WP:STRIKE it out. Cheers. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 18:09, 13 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oops. I didn't mean to vote again, just to put some weight to it after all checking I did. Thanks for teaching me something I didn't know. Fruitmince (talk) 18:15, 13 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oh, not a problem at all. It's just that we usually just bold only one either "keep" or "delete". Since you are advocating a delete based on sources, I suggest you remove the keep (just to avoid confusing the closer). Thank you for your help analysing the sources btw! --Lemongirl942 (talk) 16:28, 14 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Even I joined to wikipedia in 2014 I did it for single purpose: I update article about Hiroshima landslides at that year...(It was machine-translating Japanese, cleaning obvious errors in translation and incorporating that info further.. Nobody else did it then and nobody else bothers with Japanese sources, either.. see ban-ei, in example.) And what comes to that extreme Google "litmus test". I was so sick and bored(well, not _literally) to whole affair... while ending up establishing few "merits of notability" for those that are unknown for wider audience(Sundance as bottom guideline, Category:European film awards as next tier, Cannes was just... I don't know, madness because Quentin Tarantino used to be *edit* in jury and I love his movies) or don't have clear notability rules "written down" in guides here (as I said "Gordon Ramsay"-merit(Michelin star) or other _award_ that generates publicity), for food/drink related people, and businesses that aren't in stock market....(Some salvo to avoid next macabre farce: http://www.nexok.co.uk/, https://companycheck.co.uk, https://www.endole.co.uk, https://check-business.co.uk . These links should be spread around for everyone that checks news business-relating wikiarticles. They may be useful.) And something I did for..... just to "establish" something? (OCD is fun.)

  • Nordic Media Entertainment: Cash £14, Net Worth £-17.1k, Current Liabilities £0, credit rating F
  • CE Media (registered as Ce Media Solutions Limited) : Cash £449, Net Worth£29.14k(other sources £2.5k and £2,475(30th June 2015)) Current Liabilities £-118.33k credit rating D
  • S&P Broadcasting (A.S.=joint-stock company) Share capital 2 000 000 CZK(from economy site). CZK -> SGD = 113,471.37 SGD (and just for clarifying.... CZK -> EUR =74,013.90.

Hi

edit

Hi there, I can see you are kind of new to editing Wikipedia and very enthusiastic, but please be a little more careful about formatting things. Please read WP:CITE and try to follow the same citation format as other references in a given article (using the citation templates or reFill is best). Also, please be more careful with using correct English structure and grammar; you often forget to include articles such as "a" "an" or "the". Also, don't just remove citations, try to either find better ones or tag them for people to look over and try to fix. Good luck editing! Montanabw(talk) 02:00, 17 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm not native English speaker. Even I grew up amusing myself with English-language computer games and other media, I dropped a ball in school (and _still_ drop it, as you've witnessed) exactly for "a", "an" and "the". They're bane of my existence - and exact reason I tagged ban'ei for grammar.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
