Thanks for the speedy reply and review, I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the article was reviewed and rejected. I’m disappointed, obviously, but can understand why and will redraft the article with amendments. I have a few questions I’d like to ask before doing so.
How should I best prove notability for a musical artist? FJAAK are notable within techno as they frequently play live shows and clubs. They have more monthly listeners than Goldie and almost as many followed on Instagram as the chemical brothers (both have wiki articles and I’ve looked at them for guidance in writing this article).
Do you have any particular suggestions on how I can improve the article in this respect? I’m planning to find more articles which discuss the duo outside the form of an interview (so an album review for example). Is it acceptable to use chart positions and festival lineups to prove notability?
In my experience, I’ve seen that interviews have been used on other articles to provide details on artists which are more intimate and less likely to be reported outside such a setting.
Are the use of some interviews for this purpose acceptable to build the article so long as it doesn’t make up the bulk of an articles sources?
If there are any suggestions you might have or guide articles you would recommend that would be of great help.
Many Thanks Fthrs McGrw (talk) 08:48, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits

edit

Hi Fthrs McGrw! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. glman (talk) 13:41, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi glman!
My apologies, I thought minor edits were also applicable to small content changes but knowing this I’ll be more considerate going forward. Thank you for pointing this out!
