Viable?

As I mentioned on my talk page, I was thinking about doing something like this with the entire most of the Pocket billiards article. I'm liking the looks of this, though the entries for games that already have articles might need to be shortened a bit. Also, there's the issue of what to do with the "general rules of pocket billiards"; we need to summarize those from BCA, WPA, etc., so that rules discussions about each major game at its own article (eight-ball, and so on) can be kept more concise. Anyway, while your format isn't completely typical of list articles in general, I don't think it's out in left field or anything. Some of the entries are long because I just grabbed text to be modified late, but I think the entries should be relatively terse—a sentence on history if it exists, and the most basic of rules (especially for those which have articles). I'm not even sure if summarizing various rulesets is needed even for eight ball. We just state the object of the game, which all rulesets agree on. I'm really open to anything though. Hey man, haven't seen you around much lately Ummm... I don't know where this is. Not abandoned exactly, just stuck in a backwater and lost interest for the moment (actually I almost forgot this existed until your note popped up on my watchlist). I was very indecisive on how to go about it once I initially, sloppily compiled it, and whether it was needed. Please feel free to do anything to it you see fit.
