I am looking for help!

Hi.
I wonder how you connect two articles that's in two different languages but about the same thing. So that you can press for example the "english" link on the bottom to the left on the page.
The two articles thats about the same thing I'm talking about is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jj_(band) http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jj
Thank you.
- Hey Furito, Welcome to Wikipedia. Firstly, ensure that they are definitely the same subject. sv:Jj looks like it could be a disambiguation page. If you're certain they are the same topic, just add this at the bottom of the page: sv:Jj. The link should appear on the left hand side after you click Save page. Also, when editing a talk page, try to sign your posts using four tildes like this:
~~~~
. Have a good day :) — Deon555talkI'm BACK! 14:40, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
(edit conflict; I was adding the link whilst Deon typed the above!)
- Hi.
- When you write on talk pages (like here), please "sign" your messages by putting ~~~~ at the end, to add your username and the date/time.
- To add a link to another Wiki, you put code such as
sv:Jj
right at the end of the article. I have added this to Jj for you, and it is now working. Cheers, Chzz ► 14:44, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi. I want to edit the Templete for jj. You can find it for example at the bottom of the Jj_(band) page.
But when I hit "edit template", I come to the templete for the band XX. I have no idea why.
Please help.
--Furito (talk) 19:06, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
- Template:Jj had an incorrect name in its code. I believe the user who created the template copied it and pasted it from Template:Xx without changing all the correct parameters. I have fixed it, so now you can view and edit the template by clicking the links on the box at the bottom of pages that have it. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 19:27, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I just created an whole new article named kills (album). I accidently named it kills with only lowercases and now that's how the article is displayed. Will this be edited automatically from kills to Kills? If no, how do i fix it? I tried to Move the article from kills to killls then back to Kills but it didn't work. Still only lowercases. Can someone help? I don't have to delete it and creat a new one do I? By the way, I've only started on the article so it tiny but the lowercases in the title annoys me.
Thank you!
- Hi Furito.. I remember helping you months and months ago - last year in fact, above! Have a look at Kills (album) with the uppercase - is this your article? First letters are generally automatically capitalised by the software :) Have fun. — Deontalk 00:19, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- (e/c) It's actually not possible with the current software to create an article with a lowercase title. Accordingly, a kludge was created where even though a title remains at a capitalized name, you can add the template lowercase to it to make the title display in the article as lowercase (see, e.g., Ebay). I assume you used another article's text as an example when you created Kill (album), which contained the lowercase template. I simply remove it here. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:24, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Lower case
editI believe that the band is called "jj" and not "Jj"? Wikipedia normally capitalizes the first letter in article titles, but I have added the special code lowercase
to the very top of the article, so that it shows the title as "jj". I hope that this is helpful. Chzz ► 14:46, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much. It's much better. But do you know how to do the same thing on the swedish page? http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jj
I tried the same code but it didn't work. Maybe you know what the swedish code for lowercase is?
Thank you.
Furito (talk) 15:11, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Furito, The language code for swedish Wikipedia is 'sv'. Add sv:Jj to the bottom of the article. — Deon555talkI'm BACK! 15:17, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh do you mean adding the link back to this Wikipedia from the Swedish one? Use en:Jj_(band) — Deon555talkI'm BACK! 15:18, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
No I mean how do you fix so the articles name starts with a lower case?
In english the code was lowercase
in the beginning of the article.
But how do you do the same thing on the swedish page? lowercase
didn't work.
Thank you.
- Well, each wiki works in its own way; on English Wikipedia, we have written that template to allow articles such as iPod. I don't speak Swedish, but I will take a look and see if there is anything I can do; I'll reply here soon. Chzz ► 16:02, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi.
I found the code:
in the iMac page.
It worked. Can I us it or is it wrong?
- Somebody (you?) has fixed it; see this diff]. I was about to do the same myself. Cheers! Chzz ► 17:22, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
