Indeed, Wikipedias are operationally independent. Not by country, as you seemed to believe, but rather by language. The reasons are numerous, but the main reason is that policy varies from one language to another, and if, for example, you have been blocked for violating a policy of the Dutch Wikipedia that has no equivalent in the English Wikipedia, then the block on the Dutch will not be reflected on your activities on the English. Another - you've noticed - is that the term Gebruiker is a reserved word on the Dutch Wikipedia - means that any page that begins with this word is not an encyclopedia but a user page. In English the word "Gebruiker" is meaningless. Anyone can then start a page that begins with "Gebruiker", but the system would regard such a page as an article, and therefore subject to all policies on articles, not policies on user pages.

Wim Rutte

Ik heb je toevoeging van de naam Wim Rutte aan het artikel AFC Ajax teruggedraaid. Ik heb geen enkele bron kunnen vinden die die naam noemt. Informatie op Wikipedia moet voor iedereen te verifiëren zijn. Daarom moet de informatie altijd gedekt worden door betrouwbare bronnen. Dat was hier niet het geval. Als je een goede bron kan vinden die aantoont dat Rutte bij Ajax heeft gespeeld kan je de informatie terugplaatsen, maar je kan het ook naar voren brengen op de overlegpagina van het artikel, op Talk:AFC Ajax. Dat was misschien niet helemaal duidelijk. De enige plaats waar Wim Rutte wordt genoemd is het Wikipedia-artikel over Ajax. Hopelijk begrijp je dat we je niet op je woord kunnen geloven dat hij daadwerkelijk bij Ajax heeft gespeeld. Heb je misschien een wedstrijdverslag waarin hij genoemd wordt, of een opstelling of zoiets? De geschiedenis van Ajax is over het algemeen goed vastgelegd, dus zulke informatie moet vrij goed te vinden zijn. Zou je een paar namen kunnen noemen bij wie je niks kon vinden? Dan zal ik er ook naar kijken. Mocht er inderdaad niets te vinden zijn, dan moeten die namen misschien uit het artikel verwijderd worden tot die informatie wel te vinden is.
