Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Internet celebrity, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   The recent edit you made to Internet celebrity constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Nskillen (talk) 06:24, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Internet celebrity has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks!   Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eric (mailbox) 00:16, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing such as the edit you made to Internet celebrity. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --00:23, 21 July 2008 (UTC) --Eric (mailbox) 00:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Internet celebrity. --Catgut 00:36, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Re: Wikipedia

Hello Matt, OK! So here's the deal. According to Wikipedia's policy we can not allow users to create articles or edit article space by including information that talks about self promotion (i.e. Myspace accounts, YouTube videos or channels, web videos), which is what you were doing in your edits by saying you wanted to be the next YouTube star. These edits will most likey be reverted has vandalism by editors and administrators, which is what the case above was. Unfortunately, other editors have already warned you about the edits you were making, so yes, if you continue this way you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and we CAN ONLY allow established, note worthy biographical articles about people who are significant. Unless you've won awards or been established on a community or media level then no you can not create an article on here. Like I said, this is not a social networking web site. So in short, NO you can't talk about yourself or your work on here unless it's on your user or talk page, that's basically it. So now that we got that part covered, I am going to leave a welcome notice at the top of this page giving you information about Wikipedia and the editing guidlines we have set up here. I appreciate you coming to me for help and questions before you continued editing Matt. Look over that information and read the guidelines, it is very important if you want to make good contributions to Wikipedia. If you have any more questions just leave me a message on my talk page, ok? By the way, the sandbox is just a place to go to to practice editing and check out the tools and features Wikipedia offers to when editing. By all means, go there and check out the stuff. Have fun! Happy Editing! Ciao! --Eric (mailbox) 01:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

As is customary, I should advise you there's a discussion about this at admin's noticeboard. but basically, everything seems ok, just ensure that you edit from a neutral point of view and don't try to promote the youtube thing. Also keep in mind not to make the same change more than 3 times per WP:3RR or edit with a conflict of interests. Let me know if you have any questions. –xeno (talk) 23:58, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
I replied at my talk. P.S. If you do want to add to the WP:AN thread, please feel free to do so. –xeno (talk) 20:46, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
