editThank you for making a report about Victaulic at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism and spam is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn against, and report vandalism and spam. Your report was not a case of obvious vandalism or spam, and as a result, the user has not been blocked and the request may have been removed from the page. Next time, please use:
- Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring for reporting edit warring and violations of the Wikipedia:Edit warring#The three-revert rule.
- Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention for reporting improper usernames per the username policy.
- Wikipedia:Requests for page protection for requesting page protection.
- Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations for reporting suspected sockpuppetry.
- Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents for reporting other conduct in contravention of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Thank you.
This is your only warning; if you use inappropriate or abusive edit summaries again, as you did at Victaulic, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. After a full year with only one ad hominem talk page attack, enough! Use talk pages, not edit summaries to deal with page content. Nate • (chatter) 22:20, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
I've also gone through two sources you added; someone's DUI that applies not one bit to the company doesn't belong here, and the New York Post piece is staying out, as the URL literally has it under their gossip heading. I don't have to cite anything to say that gossip isn't a source. Don't add them again. Nate • (chatter) 04:41, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
