Request reason:

it's my first time trying to edit wiki I didn't realize it needed my name included. Also, there's no advertising or promoting happening. All I'm trying to do is replace an image of the person John D. Russell with another one at his request. I own the copyright of the image and have been asked to replace it today. Please help me walk through this process as I've spent all morning trying to figure it out on my own and then resulted in being blocked!GableGotwalsLaw (talk) 16:36, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

Decline reason:

The username issue is now resolved. However, the only thing you want to do is update an image- not a particularly urgent issue. As Orangemike notes, we have little interest in how the Judge might want the article about him to appear- and you seem to have little interest in doing anything else here. I've renamed you. You will need to go to Commons and ask them to help you adjust the copyright to indicate that you weren't the photographer but hold the copyright. Will you make further contributions consistent with the conflict of interest policy? If the Judge employs you, you would need to declare as a paid editor. 331dot (talk) 20:43, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
