I do not have any personal or professional relationship with Lanka Bandaranayake, and I was not paid for this article. I wrote about the short film Tradition (2016) and found out about this filmmaker from Sri Lanka. I felt like she should be included in a Wikippedia page. That is why I wrote this. I confirm that this is not original research, and I used primary and secondary sources in this article. I used peer-reviewed journal articles, magazines, and journals published by respected publishing houses and mainstream newspapers to develop this article. I did not know Lanka Bandaranayake personally or professionally. I found her email on one of the websites and contacted her to get pictures of her and her film to include in the article. She shared some pictures and granted copyright for those pictures only to be included in the article. I did this solely out of my interest in publishing the article. Per WP:COI, Any external relationship can trigger a conflict of interest. You did not reveal that you emailed her till now. I would advise you to stop making any changes to Lanka Bandaranayake and Tradition (film) until you have disclosed the COI and make only edit requests after disclosing it. A neutral editor needs to remove the COI tag once the article is cleaned up. You need to declare the COI in your user page and at the article talk page before you start contriubitng to Lanka Bandaranayake. Here is how you can disclose it - Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI

After disclosing, you can use the COI Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard to request for edits on that article.

Sorry, you did not do that, but some other editor did. That editor asked me to add my COI to the talk page instead of the CIO Templete section. But since the case is on the noticeboard, I will not do that to avoid further confusion. I will wait until the reviewers decide what to do with it. Thanks. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to. I was alerted on the COI feed that you removed a COI notice from the page again. The COI notice is regarding you.
