Hey! No one has welcomed you yet. So: Welcome! :D Looks like you already know your way around so I won't bore you with the standard welcomy "how-to-edit" stuff. Feel free to contact me, though, with any questions, and I hope your experience on wikipedia is brain-expanding and most of all fun! ntennis 04:32, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Deaf WikiProject
editHello :)
There are now eight names on the project. What are your thoughts on if (and when) we should make it official, and move it from my namespace? Please respond to the open forum at User talk:Ntennis/Deaf WikiProject proposal. Thanks! ntennis 02:12, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

editDeaf-mute
editHi Gaep13. I'm seeking opinions and possible support for an issue in which I'm in a debate with other Wikipedians. I'm trying to change indiscrimant use of the term "deaf-mute" in describing deaf people in general. To see some comments related to the issue, see Talk:The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, as well as my own Talk page, User talk:Ward3001. You can also follow the links to other discussions. Right now I'm about the only person addressing the issue because deaf people are such a small minority. Other Wikipedians, with apparently no prior knowledge of the issue, are reverting my edits. If you're interesting in expressing your opinion, feel free to do so. If you wish to discuss further please leave me a message on my Talk page. Thanks. Ward3001 17:30, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject Deaf
editI notice you are a member of WikiProject Deaf. You may also add {{User WikiProject Deaf}}, which also adds a userbox to your page, or [[Category:WikiProject Deaf participants]] to your userpage. If you do, it will list you in Category:WikiProject Deaf participants. Taric25 19:56, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- I added you to Category:WikiProject Deaf participants. Taric25 15:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Massive in Summer.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Massive in Summer.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:55, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Which short stories did she use? You mentioned that in the edit summary.Zigzig20s (talk) 21:02, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- The last sections of the novel, "The White Mulberry Tree" and "Alexandra," were both originally short stories she had been working on. The rest of the novel emerged after the joining of these two stories. This is attested to in James Woodress's biography. Gaep13(talk) 20:58, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
