Speedy deletion of Andreita

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Goddess of cleaning? Candies for sale?

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Dlohcierekim 00:51, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

PS-- Assuming for the sake of argument that there is a legitimate subject for this, the thing to do is to write an article that complies with our policies and guidelines and then putting it up. Subject must meet notability guidelines for articles about people and guidelines for people still living. You will need verifiable, reliable sources. Note well, being someone you know, like, or think well of does not make a person notable. If you continue to add the sort of tripe I've twice deleted, you may find yourself blocked form editing. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 00:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adding 'by whom' tags.

edit

I have removed your 'by whom' tag from Reforma as it was improperly formated. The correct format for this tag is to surround it with two curly brackets. It will then appear as super-text, and with a link to an explanation of weasel words like this: [by whom?].

I didn't think that the tag was necessarily appropriate in that context, although I do agree with your suggestion that it may not be acceptable to label a newspaper as 'conservative' without sufficient citation. I have dealt with this by simply removing the word conservative until such time as it can be cited better. Interestingly, a quick survey of articles about major newspapers demonstrates a wide problem with weasel word statements being used to describe the newspapers political stance. --Korruski (talk) 10:48, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the sugestions! I'll read the guidelines to edit in the future.
